Supplier Management
- Educate Supplier Base to meet BUYERS expectations through comprehensive induction (which includes standards regarding quality, packaging etc.)
- Monitor Supplier Performance to ensure agreed performance criteria are met and appropriate corrective actions are implemented where required
- Regular Reporting on Supplier Performance
- Ensure On Time Shipments
- Manage Quality of Shipped Merchandise – meets approved standards as per pre-production samples & overall customer standard scale.
- Ensure Shipment Packaging is as per purchase order and Buyer’s manual
- Ensure Timely and Accurate Paperwork as Buyer’s standards and operations procedures
Support Buying Team
- Build “Concept to Customer” timeline for spring/summer and autumn/winter development and advise best time and frequency of travel
- Prepare Suppliers and Product Teams so buying trip objectives are realistically set and accomplished as planned
